Certification of Gaming Devices

is a modern system, modelled upon other systems for certification of products.

A device can be tested only by a laboratory qualified to SIST EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, and certified only by a body meeting the requirements of the SIST EN 45011 standard.

An organizer of games of chance is granted a licence for the use of a certified gaming device, provided the device is found to be identical with the approved type at inspection. Only a body meeting the requirements of the SIST EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard can perform inspections of gaming devices.

is performed according to the CN412 document (Certification of gaming devices). To begin a certification procedure, we need to receive an application for testing and certification of a gaming device, i.e. a dully filled in WN121 document or any other document referred to in the WP123 instructions (Information for clients - Preparation of gaming device application).

is issued, provided a gaming device is found to meet the requirements of the relevant technical regulation. A list of gaming devices certified in accordance with the Slovenian regulation.
