SIQ is the only gaming laboratory in the world providing to its business partners comprehensive solutions (»one stop testing«) which include, in addition to the services provided in the capacity of a gaming laboratory, also electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrical safety testing (LVD) of devices, and management systems assessments (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, etc.).

SIQ is the only European and one of the three leading global gaming laboratories holding licences for providing services on at least four continents.

We are convinced that SIQ is the institution providing the broadest range of services in the world within the scope of its registered activities. In the past three years (i.e. from 2008 to 2010) SIQ provided at least one of its services to its business partners from 53 countries worldwide.

The first in Slovenia
SIQ is a leading training institution in Slovenia in the field of management systems – annually over 250 training events, over 300 participants, on average at least one training event each day of a workweek.

The seventh in Europe
SIQ is the seventh among the European national metrology institutes by the number of CMC calibration measurement capacities. Only the following big national institutes are ahead of us: PTB Germany, NPL Great Britain, LNE France, VSL The Netherlands, INRIM Italy, and SP Sweden. If classified by the number of calibration measurement capacities per an employee, SIQ holds a leading position in Europe.

40% of schools and kindergartens
Almost 400 kindergartens and schools (elementary and secondary), representing 40% of all Slovene schools and kindergartens, have participated in the activities related to the KzP model – Quality for the Future of Education and Schooling – in the recent five years, i.e. since the first year of its use.

Have been growing for 18 years – by 12% annually
Our satisfied business partners have contributed to the growth of revenues and positive operating results of SIQ. The results from our operation have been positive since our founding in 1993 and since then, our revenues have increased, on average, by 12% annually.

Each fourth certificate in the world
SIQ is a member of the international network of certification bodies IQNet within which it is issued every fourth management system certificate (25% of all issued certificates) in the world.

In the first third by the number of issued internationally recognized certificates
SIQ holds 24th position by the absolute number of issued internationally recognized IECEE certificates in 2011 among 74 certification bodies included in that certification scheme in the field of safety and electromagnetic compatibility of devices.

In the broadest product categories of IT equipment (OFF) and household and similar electrical apparatus (HOUS), wherein all certification bodies issued in 2010 two thirds of all internationally recognized certificates, SIQ holds 16th or 19th position respectively as far as the absolute number of issued IECEE certificates is concerned.

SIQ tests and certifies products for global manufacturers for their sale all over the world (Friwo, BSH, De' Longhi, Fotona, Delta Energy Systems, Gorenje, Unox and others).

SIQ tests power supply units for the majority of electric cars

SIQ has tested power supply units to be installed in the majority of the electric cars of trade marks Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Daimler, Renault, Peugeot and other marks.

SIQ tests and certifies the majority of signal heads in Europe

SIQ is an EU Notified Body testing and conducting certification procedures for the majority of European manufacturers of signal heads (Swarco Futurit, Siemens, Isbak, ZIR).
