Types of projects IP Department deals with are:

• Twinning projects;
• Technical Assistance projects;
• other international projects funded by different organizations (financial, e.g. BAS, IFC, research programmes, such as TEMPUS, EU FP, etc.);
• other projects, funded by national or international organizations.

Main activities:

• obtaining contacts with other institutions and companies in Slovenia and abroad and forming consortiums;
• coordination of processes between project partners during the whole life-cycle of a project;
• coordination of processes between all SIQ departments, internal and external staff during the whole life-cycle of a project;
• project documentation management - financial and technical preparation and reporting;
• backstopping of experts' mission activities (preparation of contracts, forms, documentation, hotel reservations, etc.)

Scope of work:

• Consulting on European technical legislation – New Approach Directives (CE marking);
• Company consulting on different technical documentation (technical dossiers, reports, etc.);
• Assisting institutions on product conformity assessment (quality infrastructure) according to EC acquis.
