Gaming devices
Safety of gaming and similar devices are tested according to IEC/EN 60335-2-82 (Particular requirements for amusement machines and personal service machines)
(general requirements: IEC/EN 60335-1)
Scope:
- safety of electric commercial amusement machines (slot machines, roulettes, electric table games – poker, blackjack, billiard tables; pinball machines, bowling machines, dartboards, driving simulators, kiddie rides, laser shooting appliances, video games, etc.)
- and personal service machines (card re-value machines, currency dispensers, luggage lockers, weighing machines, shoe shining appliances, etc.)
Appliances intended exclusively for household or industrial use, vending machines, etc. are not tested according to this standard.
SIQ has many experiences with testing of gaming devices and many references all over the world. As a member of CB scheme we are also able to offer an international CB certificate for gaming devices, which is a base for acquisition of national certificates.
We can also provide our services during construction of your devices and selection of components with our professional interpretation of the standard. That way you can construct a device that will comply with the standard without any needed re-construction in final approval.
