ResultsWhat is the CCA Agreement?
The CCA Agreement is an agreement among European certification bodies for electrical products which eliminates the need for the retesting of products in cases when a manufacturer also wishes to acquire national certification marks of other agreement members.
SIQ participates in the CCA Agreement as an equal partner, which means that Slovene manufacturers can acquire an internationally recognised NTR document verifying that their products meet the requirements of all the relevant standards and technical regulations at a national certification body in their own country.
How to acquire the NTR document with SIQ
We test devices according to European standards (EN and HD). Prior to issuing an NTR document we carry out a pre-licence inspection at the manufacturer's premises; after issuing an NTR we carry out regular annual surveillance of production, in line with harmonised procedures.
Such certification is aimed at offering a complex system for the assessment of conformity with safety and other standards.
The system, which is in line with the relevant international standards, enables the constant checking of production process stability and ensures the consistent meeting of requirements.
The certification procedures, with regular inspections, are based on international guidelines and are uniformly applied by all member signatories to the agreement.
