SIQ Certification Mark

The SIQ certification mark is a well recognised safety mark for electrical products. Our certificates facilitate access to national and international markets and are the basis for the necessary EU declaration of conformity for your products. The SIQ certification mark sends a signal to all consumers and relevant authorities that the product complies with the legal requirements set by the Low Voltage Directive.

For issuing a licence to use the SIQ certification mark, in addition to the type test, pre-licence inspection at the manufacturers' premises should be performed, and annual factory inspections and follow-up testing of the product should be carried out. Procedures for performing factory inspections and follow-up testing are harmonised with those valid within the CCA Scheme and in other foreign institutions.

The level of confidence in the safety of an apparatus bearing the SIQ certification mark is comparable to that of other established European certification marks. The holder of the SIQ certification mark may apply for other certification marks of conformity, such as VDE, GS, etc.
