A certificate confirms to the outside world that an organisation has established its management system according to the selected document(s), and that the system is properly documented, implemented and maintained, and its effectiveness continually improved. A certificate can also be seen as a motivation for an organisation to further improve its business performance, and as a means of achieving increased recognition of its products and services.
