CCA EMC Certification Mark

CCA EMC Certification Mark

The CCA EMC Mark Agreement describes the procedure for the granting and use of a common conformity mark for products meeting the requirements of European standards concerning electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in line with the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC.

The CCA EMC Certification Mark on a product indicates that the product complies with the requirements of the European harmonized standards concerning electromagnetic compatibility, and that the product’s compliance has been verified by a relevant certification body.

Before granting a license for the use of the CCA EMC Certification Mark, a certification body also checks whether production is supervised and approves the product. After the license has been granted, it carries out regular factory inspections and follow-up testing of the product.

Procedures for performing regular factory inspections and follow-up product testing are harmonized with those used within the CCA EMC Scheme and in other foreign institutions.

The license is not time-limited if regular factory inspections and follow-up product testing are carried out.
