Railway subsystem and component testing

RFU-STR-022 is a Recommendation for Use (RFU) document issued by the NB-Rail Association, which coordinates Notified Bodies (NoBo) involved in the conformity assessment of railway products and subsystems within the European Union. This specific RFU provides guidance on testing procedures in the context of Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI) conformity assessments. It addresses the roles and requirements for test laboratories, including aspects such as accreditation, competence, and the responsibilities of NoBos when utilising external laboratories for testing purposes.
