Experience and references

Janez Bauer is a lead auditor of management systems at Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology, Ljubljana (SIQ Ljubljana) with many years of experience in the field of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO/IEC 27701, ISO 28000, EN ISO/IEC 17025, and TISAX standards. He has performed more than 400 audits in Slovenia and abroad.

He also acts as an external expert for Slovenian Accreditation and as a consultant for the implementation and integration of quality and information security management systems, and establishment of regulatory compliance (GDPR, ZVOP-2, NIS2). A special area of his work is the validation of IT solutions and laboratory information systems and the establishment of business compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, and GAMP5 requirements.

He actively lectures at SIQ training courses (e.g., ISO 28000 – Supply Chain Security, TISAX – Information Security, Quality in Laboratories) and participates in professional conferences. His references include projects in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device manufacturing, automotive, IT, logistics, and critical infrastructure industries.
