Online course: Internal auditor according to ISO/IEC 17020 in Inspection Body

Internal audits of a quality management system, carried out by competent auditors in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020:2012, can make an important contribution to the effectiveness of inspection bodies.

Attend the course to learn the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020:2012, check your understanding of them and qualify as a competent internal auditor according to this standard. Once you pass a written exam, you will be awarded an SIQ certificate of successful completion of the ISO 17020:2012 course.

• Presentation of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020:2012
• Updates in the draft of the new ISO/IEC 17020 standard edition
• Preparation and maintenance of accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17020:2012
• Internal audit: definition, purpose, planning, preparation, performance, reporting
• Competence of auditors
• Effectiveness of internal audits: correction of non-conformities, implementation of actions and continuous improvement
• Case study and an internal audit simulation
• Written exam

• prospective auditors of the quality management system of inspection bodies;
• managers and all those who wish to improve their knowledge of work management in an inspection body.

Working methods and preparation for the course

• The course consists of lectures, exchange of experience, case studies and simulation of an internal audit.
• At the end of the course, the participants take a written exam.
• To make the course easier to follow, please make sure you have a valid copy of ISO/IEC 17020:2012.

The online course will take place in a live online e-classroom.  Up to two days before the implementation, registered participants will receive a link to the online course. Participants need a computer with a microphone and a camera, as well as access to a reliably functioning internet connection to participate in online course without interruption.
