ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Internal Auditor of Laboratory Quality Management Systems

“One Course two Certificates” Participants gain the IQNet Certificate (Internationally Recognized Certificate) and SIQ Certificate showing successful completion of the course.

Course and materials will be in English language.

An internal audit of the quality management system established in a laboratory that is performed by competent auditors significantly contributes to the maintenance of an effective system of laboratory operation and is at the same time the driving force behind the process of continuous improvement of its quality.

Purpose

During the course, the participants will be introduced in detail to the requirements of
ISO /IEC 17025: 2017 standard. With the help of a case study and an audit simulation, the participants will be able to independently perform an internal audit of the quality management system in a laboratory, independently prepare for the audit, report and develop a corrective action program. Based on a successfully completed written exam, the participants receive an SIQ certificate of successful completion of an ISO 17025:2017 course.

Lecturer Mrs Alja Pregl was a long-time product certification director and quality manager at SIQ. There, she was responsible for product certification, accreditations (as a testing and calibration laboratory, inspection body, product and management system certification body and greenhouse gas report verifier) and their maintenance and for SIQ’s designations as a notified body under various European directives and regulations … Among other things, she led the coordination of the European PIM project within SIQ, was a European evaluator of organizations according to the EFQM model and participated in the TC UGA / WG 1 working groups as a member of the Slovenian Institute for Standardization. She works as an auditor of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO / IEC 27001, and the Medical Devices Regulation at SIQ.
