SIQ Extends Accreditation to the Full EN 18031 Cybersecurity Standard Series

We are pleased to announce that, in early November, SIQ successfully extended its accreditation scope to include the complete set of cybersecurity standards EN 18031-1,
EN 18031-2, and EN 18031-3.

The EN 18031 series is the newly harmonized standard suite supporting compliance with the cybersecurity requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, Article 3(3)(d), (e), and (f). These standards provide a harmonized path for manufacturers to demonstrate conformity with the essential cybersecurity provisions applicable to radio equipment placed on the EU market.

By extending our accreditation to the full EN 18031 series, SIQ now offers fully accredited testing and conformity assessment services for all three parts of the standard. This extension strengthens our ability to support manufacturers in verifying the cybersecurity performance, robustness, and resilience of their connected devices.
