Management System Assessment – Knowledge for the Future

[9.30-11.00, Heros Hall]

The lecture is organized by the Management System Assessment department and will be held in Slovenian (except for the IQNET presentation)

Lecturers:

  • Miloš Seražin (SIQ Ljubljana) – Opening speech
  • Jana Kolenc Muženič (SIQ Ljubljana) – Management systems today for tomorrow
  • Jure Videc (Jub d.o.o.) – How management systems benefit companies in achieving business goals
  • Pedro Castro Alves (IQNET) – The future of management system certification (the lecture will be held in English)

Organizations pursuing management system certification share a common goal: to move forward. Motivations vary—some seek to attract new customers, others aim to streamline operations, and many are focused on growth and development. Regardless of the reason, the benefits of certification are numerous. It marks the beginning of a new journey, one where the organization holds the ‘scissors and canvas,’ fully in control of its destiny.

Management systems provide a solid foundation, guiding us through the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, yet the ultimate outcomes depend on our efforts. Throughout this lecture, we will explore the insights gained on this journey, examine the differences among organizations, and discuss our vision for the future. Join us as we delve into these crucial questions and chart a course for ongoing improvement and success.
