We visited the Arab Health 2023 Fair

With more than 3,300 exhibitors from 76 different countries, the Arab Health Medical Devices Fair is one of the leading exhibitions of medical devices and innovations that are changing the world of medicine. The fair took place at the end of January 2023 in Dubai.

SIQ representatives met more than 30 different manufacturers at the fair and took the opportunity to visit existing customers. Due to the relatively small number of notified bodies for the certification of medical devices, there are currently 37 in Europe (Source: ec.europa.eu), the demand for these services is immense.Many European manufacturers and exhibitors were present at the fair, grouped into regional pavilions, including the Slovenian pavilion where quite a few of our companies presented their medical products and services.

As SIQ has become increasingly recognized as a notified and independent body for testing and certification of medical devices, there has been a growing interest in professional educational content in the field of ensuring compliance of medical devices. Together with renowned experts from practice, we provide comprehensive training programs on medical device legislation and related standards.
