Safety testing

In today’s highly competitive world, product safety is what we require and believe to be highly important. Among the many various products, those that have been tested for safety by an independent institution have a competitive advantage on the market.

Say it out loud: My product is safe!

There are a number of different product safety requirements. Which of these many requirements the product will need to meet depends on the type of the product, the environment in which it will be used, and the country in which it is intended to be sold, but there are three basic aspects of safety to be tested:

• Electrical safety – risks arising from the electrical characteristics of the product;
• Mechanical safety – risks arising from the physical characteristics of the product;
• Environmental safety – risks due to exposure to different environmental conditions.

At SIQ we are trained and have the knowledge and equipment for testing all three aspects of safety. Our laboratories are accredited according to the SIST EN ISO/IEC 17025 testing laboratory standard and perform tests in accordance with national, European and international standards, as well as other manufacturer specifications.
